How to keep the same singer on every song with Suno Personas
Name a singer or band you love, or describe a voice, and the Voice maker gives you a Suno style and about a minute of lyrics built to show that kind of voice off. Save the best take as a Persona and every song you make with it has the same singer. Free with a Latido account.
Open the Voice maker
Find it in the Studio under Write and check, or tap the button under this guide. It needs a free Latido account.
Name a singer or band you love, or describe a voice
For a band, it uses the lead singer's voice. You can also describe the voice in your own words, like raspy female alto, 70s folk rock. The name you type is never in what you get back: Suno doesn't accept names, and the voice you make is your own.
Pick the language for the lyrics
Keep The singer's language, or choose English or Spanish. Pick the language you plan to write your own songs in, so the voice is used to it.
Tap Make the voice
It takes 10 to 30 seconds. You can make a few a day.
Read the voice
You get the range, tone, texture, delivery and the era it belongs to. It is a good way to learn what makes a voice sound the way it does.
Copy the style and the lyrics
The style puts the voice first and keeps the music sparse, so the singer is easy to hear. The lyrics run about a minute: low and close in the verse, high in the chorus, one long held note and an ad-lib, so you hear the whole voice.
Make it in Suno and keep the best take
In Suno, open Custom mode, paste the lyrics and the style, and tap Create. Make a few takes and listen for the one whose voice you love.
Create a Persona from that take
Open the menu on the song you picked and choose Create Persona. Give it a name you will remember. The Persona keeps that singer's voice.
Pick the Persona for every new song
When you make a new song, choose your Persona and write that song's own lyrics and style. Start the style with the voice tags the Voice maker gave you, then the genre and instruments of the new song. Same singer, any song.
