The story behind this song
TRANSMISSION 001: DON’T GO INSIDE Nobody knows when the station closed. Nobody remembers who operated it. The building has been abandoned for years, yet its equipment continues to function. No electricity. No staff. No explanation. This transmission contains what appears to be a frightened woman’s final attempt to contact the outside world. She entered the building expecting to find an empty radio station. Instead, she discovered equipment that was still broadcasting, voices coming through disconnected speakers, and something moving where nothing should have been alive. The longer she remained inside, the more the station seemed to recognize her. It repeated sounds she hadn’t made yet. It knew things she hadn’t said. Whatever was transmitting wasn’t simply recording her. It was waiting for her. Her warning is quiet, breathless, and increasingly desperate. There is no music to soften the experience, no narrator to explain what happened, and no confirmation that she ever escaped. Only a voice trying to reach someone before the signal disappears. This is the first recovered transmission from Dead Frequencies, an abandoned radio station that continues broadcasting without human intervention. The station is empty. The frequency is occupied. If you hear someone calling from inside, don’t answer. And whatever you do… Don’t go inside.

Prompt
Scared, whispered, quiet, genuinely terrified. Intimate adult female voice speaking extremely close to a phone microphone. Hushed, breath-frayed delivery with controlled urgency, natural pauses, occasional trembling, shallow breathing, and subtle vocal strain. Plain, realistic conversational speech, as though secretly recording a warning while hiding from something nearby. Fear gradually intensifies, but the voice remains restrained and barely above a whisper. No singing, no theatrical narration, no exaggerated acting, no shouting. Unpolished, vulnerable, unsettling realism.
Lyrics
Don’t Go Inside Dead Frequencies — Transmission 001 I found a station that shouldn’t be there. I don’t know what it’s called, and I’m not saying where I found it. The place looks rotted through, like it’s been left to decay for years, but it’s still open. Still working. Something is being broadcast from inside. I can hear it coming through, but I don’t know who’s sending it, where it’s going, or why it’s still on. At first, I thought it was someone talking. But the longer I listened, the more I realized something was wrong with the voice. It sounded like someone was trying to speak through a mouth full of dirt. I couldn’t make out the words. Sometimes it sounded like there were several people talking at once. Other times, I could hear breathing between the bursts of static. The building is wrong. The walls, the equipment, all of it looks like it should have collapsed a long time ago. It feels like it shouldn’t exist at all. I went in because I thought I could find someone. I thought I could turn something off. But the further I walked, the louder the broadcast became. I couldn’t tell which room it was coming from anymore. Every time I thought I was getting closer, I heard it somewhere behind me. And then I heard my own voice. I don’t know how to explain that. I could hear myself talking through one of the speakers, saying things I hadn’t said yet. I tried to leave after that. I can’t find the door. If you find a place like this, don’t go inside. Don’t follow the sound. Don’t try to help me. I don’t know how to get out now. I’m still hearing the broadcast, and I don’t know what it wants. Sometimes it stops long enough for me to hear something moving in the walls. And every time it starts again, my voice is a little clearer. Please. If you’re listening, stay away.
